I’m so bored
I love Kimya Dawson so much. As trite as it may sound, her lyrics are so inspirational/motivational and they’ve helped me out for years now.
I think I’m going to get my first pair of Docs!
I have before never seen a horror movie that was actually terrifying and a good movie at the same time. Sinister, while it did in part match the archetype for a horror film (things jump out, music builds up, suspense, predictable, etc), also seemed to be for the most part, a well-made film. Many of the camera angles, including one I distinctly remember in which the main character watched a graphic Super 8 film clip of a throat-slitting, reflected in his glasses, were quite interesting. Also, I enjoyed the use of the Super 8 film theme throughout. Overall, it had enough graphic content to disturb you and enough horror to scare you. However, the ideal use of both of these aspects set Sinister above the typical horror film.
